Plase note that many power washing companies working in Oregon are not licensed by the CCB and carry no insurance or bond. Please check them out using the Oregon CCB license lookup page before engaging those companies.

No. We understand there are underfunded contractors out there that charge large deposits to book work or pay for materials. We will not ask you for a deposit to schedule your work. We've all heard horror stories about dishonest contractors. We want you to sleep easy. The only money we may ask for is 1/3 after the first day of a multi-day project such as a deck. At that point you willl have seen what we can do and your materials will be on the job site.

Our deck work is guaranteed, in writing, for two years. Because we use contractor grade stains and sealers we know they will hold up.

No, not at all.

We are very confident in our ability to make your experience a pleasant one. From the time you make the call our process is swift and efficient. We will get back to you within the day to schedule an quote. As long as we have access to the property, you need not be home for this quote.

We will then present you with a detailed written proposal. Our proposals are concrete. The price we quote is the price you pay. Work will then be scheduled and unless the weather is not cooperating, we show up on time and ready to work.

If someone is offering "The Lowest Price" they have to be cutting corners somewhere, whether its with equipment, soaps, insurance or quality of services. But, mostly likely, they are not licensed by the State of Oregon CCB.

Yes, we are often willing to work on Saturdays and Sundays when needed.

No, because we understand that you are just as busy as we are. We do ask that you close all of your windows, clear vehicles from your driveway and put away fragile decorations on your home or deck. Please read our "Before We Arrive" guidelines for more information. If you are not going to be home, please let us know.

Yes, many of our regular customers are either on our annual or biennial (every two years) maintenance programs. We recommend keeping your property and deck clean and up to date.

Our goal is to complete all projects within 5 business days of your acceptance of the quote. As with any outdoor profession, severely inclement weather, such as the rare snow and ice storms, may delay your project start date. We will tell you when you accept the quote if we anticipate any delays in project completion.

Established customers with an account in good standing can be billed for work done with the balance due within 30 days of project completion. For new customers the balance is due at the completion of the job.

Payment Terms other than the above must be agreed to in writing by the customer and SqueeGee Power Wash prior to the start of work.

It is important to maintain a clean property for the aesthetic value, safety, increase property value and the much-desired curb appeal. Cleaning will also to provide lasting protection against building material degradation. When mold, mildew, algae and other environmental pollutants are allowed to remain on the exterior surfaces of a property they can contribute to premature paint failure and can also cause permanent staining on concrete, gutters, and  decks

Soft Washing or Soft Wash is a process that consists of applying a cleaning solution, letting the solution do its job and then rinsing away the unwanted material while using only low pressure to insure the safe cleaning of your property.

High pressure washing can do dammage to wood, push water behind siding or slices through window screens. High pressure is only used on surfaces that can withstand the pressure and require the high pressure to remove the dirt and grime. Instead, we use the soft wash methodology.

Low Maintenance yes, Zero Maintenance no. Anything left outside in this area's damp will get dirty. Your car gets dirty sitting in your driveway, so does your house and deck.

We rely on high quality environmentally safe cleaning products to perform the majority of the house washing. Then we follow with a low pressure rinse so no damage will occur to your house or landscaping. Our pressure washers allow us to increase or decrease the nozzle pressure to best meet the needs of the cleaning project at hand.

SqueeGee Power Wash has spent considerable time exploring the right blends of cleaning solutions that are biodegradable, environmentally safe and effective, but will not harm landscaping, people and pets. The products we use have no chemical odors or fumes and will not harm plants or grass. They are safe to use over water, they biodegrade very rapidly only hours after use, they will not harm people or pets, they will not stain other surfaces. Our cleaning solutions are both safe and highly effective.

We use a soft wash cleaning method to clean houses and buildings . If the paint on your house is already loose or peeling it may inadvertently come off. Our experienced professionals staff will be able to recognize problem areas during the consultation.

Each and every property and surface has its own unique situation. There are many determining factors and variables. Trees for instance, will create shaded and damp areas, creating an ideal environment for algae and mildew to develop and thrive in. Unusually dry or damp weather conditions can also have a direct effect on the length of time that a surface will stay clean. Typical results for the Pacific Northwest climate is 1 to 3 years.

The normal oxidation and aging of paint will enable dirt to stick to the paint, especially on surfaces like rough-sawn siding or stucco. It is this dirtying and aging process that can make a paint film appear to be worn when, in fact, there are many more years of life to it.

The ultimate answer to extending paint life is to give the building an occasional bath. We recommend our soft wash treatment to kill surface mildew, mold and fungus every other year. A house-wash will also clean up surface dirt, cobwebs, insect nests and other airborne pollutants.

It stands to reason that you wouldn't leave a new car in a driveway for 4, 5 or 6 years without washing it. So it is with a home or building. The regular pressure cleaning of the building can extend the life of the paint job 50%. Remember, any balcony or roof run down, and other contaminants that discolor or disfigure the paint is not a defect in the paint system, but is a natural occurrence that can be removed with occasional cleaning and maintenance.

The ugly dark streaks and stains are caused by an algae, scientifically known as gloeocapsa magma. Once present in an area, the algae can quickly spread by airborne spores. All surfaces including decks, roofs, siding, stucco, cement, ceramic and clay tile as well as wood shake or metal are susceptible to algae infestation.

The algae feeds from water and sunlight. It starts from the gound, grows up your gutter lines, and onto your roof. It grows in "streaks" as it follows moisture left by the rain. The condition is common and biologically based. The organisms always grow on the northern face of your property.

The algea grow over time, causing the dirty and false "worn" appearance. We eliminate this problem!

Most likely it is mold. All mold needs to grow is moisture (humidity) and a food source and it will grow anywhere. The dark stains on your siding, the dark stains on concrete walks (especially in shaded areas) are typically mold, whereas the dark streaks are typically algae.

The American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine states: "The presence of mold adversely affects human health through three processes: allergy, infection and toxicity."

To reduce the mold threat, mold should be controlled where it grows, outside. Reducing or eliminating exterior mold reduces the chances of mold getting into your home. This in turn helps prevent you or your loved ones from having allergies, or flu like symptoms in the future. A bonus to the improved curb appeal of the property!

Mold and mildew are both types of fungus, whereas algae is a plant. Mold and mildew are identifiable as a blackish gray stain that appears like dirt, but doesn't come off with detergent. Algae is typically green, black or orange, which also does not remove with detergent.

Mold inhibitors are just that. They generally only last a year. Recomended for really bad mold problems. "wax"? It is a polymer wax added to the wash mix. Just like at the car wash! Adds more lustre to the siding, and also makes a less pourus surface for the mold to adhere to.
